The German Minister of Economy praised the Egyptian wing at the ITB Berlin:

The German Minister of Economy, Rainer Bruederle, praised the Egyptian wing at the ITB Berlin.

He expressed his deep admiration of the great success of Egypt during the exhibition of this year.

During his inspection of the Egyptian wing of the exhibition, Mr. Bruederle said that Egypt enjoys a special and privileged position among the Germans who are really interested in Egyptian history. He ensured, as well, that he was enthusiastic to visit the Egyptian wing as a result of both the great attention given to the Egyptian hall by the German media more than any other country participating in the exhibition, and the highly attendance at the Egyptian wing.

It is noteworthy that the participation of Egypt in the ITB this year was very distinguished. The area of the Egyptian hall was four times its area last year.

The ETA presented movies about Tahrir Square and the recent revolution in Egypt. The Egyptian flag was raised at the entrance of the Egyptian meeting hall, and received the attention of all the participants of the exhibition.
Hotels and tourism companies competed to put it on their printed brochures handed out to the visitors.
